The Douglas Hayward Puppet Collection: a permanent display of around 200 puppets dating from 1800 to the present day, by puppet makers including The Lanchesters, the Stavordales, Eric Bramall, Ken Barnard, Fred Tickner, Douglas Hayward and many more. Displayed in a re-creation of the Douglas Hayward Puppet Museum from the Staffordshire village of Abbots Bromley. Open 7 days a week from mid-March to end of October, 11 AM to 5 PM. One admission charge covers car park and entrance to the museum, Mansion House (National Trust)farm and gardens.
